PORTLAND, OR, — April 19th, 2011 — Precision Conversions, LLC (Precision) is pleased to announce that the company has received an award to provide DHL with a full 15-pallet position 757-200PCF freighter. The 1992 ex-Air Greenland, Rolls-Royce powered, B757-200 (MSN 25620) was inducted for conversion at the end of March and will be redelivered in June of 2011. The aircraft will be modified by Flightstar Aircraft Services located in Jacksonville, Florida.
The 757-200PCF will be operated by Tasman Cargo Airlines, a linehaul supplier for DHL, based in Mascot, Australia and will replace the existing Tasman Cargo B727-200F which has reached its retirement age. The replacement full 15-pallet position 757-200PCF freighter however will usher in a new era of higher payload and flight efficiency.
