Summary: the responsibilities for this position are to plan, direct and coordinate all procurement functions for the facility. Utilizing MRP, this person will plan and manage the procurement of a large variety of complex materials and services to effectively support the production requirements including negotiation of purchase price, quality, availability, delivery, and other factors necessary to ensure the overall conformance of materials purchased to manufacturing specifications and overall company production objectives. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall procurement activities for assigned categories to assure high level of supplier performance in accordance with compliance requirements. 
  • Responsible for management and execution of the end-to-end Procurement processes which include: sourcing, contract negotiation and management and purchase order creation for indirect services and materials. 
  • Establish, build and maintain successful supplier relationships.
  • Work with and lead cross functional teams across the network, to identify, develop and drive strategic programs focused on reducing overall cost structure and improved supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs. 
  • Respond to MRP signals and assign workload across purchasing resources
  • Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates. 
  • Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc.
  • Assist in forecasting to plan future orders.
  • Periodically reviews product utilization reports of items purchased and updates safety stock levels.
  • Conduct supplier audits.
  • Research cost savings opportunities and assists engineering department in product development and improvement of purchased items. 
  • coordinates with finance to reconcile invoices and finalize payments.
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field required, or equivalent work experience
  • Highly energetic, self-starter with 10+ years of procurement experience in an MRP environment
  • Purchasing manager experience 5+ years
  • Knowledge of LEAN and other best practices
  • Knowledge of standard procurement and accounting processes and practices
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Well organized and comfortable working independently as well as taking direction from upper management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiation abilities a plus
  • High competency level (intermediate to advanced) in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with working in an ERP system a plus
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages. Able to apply concepts of basic algebra

Summary: Primary job duties will include completing the payment of open accounts payable on a weekly basis for a consolidated group of companies.   Average checks issued per week: 80-120.  This position will assist in process/procedure development and execution to control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.  Liaise with procurement and logistics group to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and vendor invoices.

 Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Charges expenses to balance sheet and income statement accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
  • Pays vendors weekly; verifying federal id numbers (and obtaining W-9 for new vendors); scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Assist the warehouse staff with inventory accounting related issues.
 Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Great Plains Dynamics Accounting System
  • 5-10 years practical experience in accounts payables
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other Web Based Applications
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced database functions

Summary: Support Engineering Management with aircraft technical writing expertise.   

Duties and Job Requirements:
  • Support Engineering Management with aircraft technical writing expertise.
  • Research and review engineering drawings, engineering orders and related technical data defining aircraft modifications and determine their effect on aircraft technical manuals and publications such as the ICA, FMS, CMM, SB, SRM, IPC, and Task Cards.
  • Prepare accurate technical publications and data using PC based software and publishing packages for all company technical manuals or engineering data.
  • Incorporate graphic Illustrations Into the written data that forms the basis for "camera ready" technical manual supplemental data.
  • Edit and produce technical manual supplements with FAA, customer and company standards of quality.
  • Provide input and suggestions for continuous department improvements, controls, flows and systems.
  • Become directly involved with the development of an Engineering Procedures Manual, Material Review Board Process, Work Load Process, and Aircraft Delivery Certification Process.
  • Prepare technical presentations that will be used for both design review meetings and business and certification applications. Attend various design meetings.
  • Produce engineering design data required for the proper manufacture, assembly and Installation of aircraft modifications.
  • Research and review engineering data (drawings, reports, manuals, etc.) defining aircraft structure or systems to determine the most efficient method of modification or alteration.
  • Coordinate with stress engineers and Designated Engineering Representatives to ensure aircraft modifications or design deviations achieve applicable FM certification in a timely manner.
  • Perform aircraft surveys and customer coordination to develop aircraft design concepts which address customer and FAA requirements. Aircraft surveys would consider the overall impact on company technical manuals.
  • Prepare certification test plans and reports.
  • Develop aircraft engineering expertise that Includes technical writing, aircraft design concepts, industry design standards, Federal Aviation regulations, and customer requirements.
Required Skills and Experience: 
  • Proven Proficiency with Microsoft office products.
  • Working knowledge and use of Frame maker.
  • Experience with Corel draw.
  • General understanding of aircraft parts and materials.
  • High school or equivalent; technical or vocational education a plus.

Summary: Supports Quality Management with in-process and final inspection of aircraft parts. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that inspections are performed to approved design data on all incoming and outgoing materials, articles and assemblies and appropriate paperwork is properly executed and sent with parts.
  • Perform first article inspection with calibrated precision instruments in accordance with AS9102.
  • Identify non-conforming materials, articles and assemblies and complete rejection reports and corrective action reports using MS word and Excel.
  • Perform in-process and final inspection of complicated large assemblies.
  • Perform on site supplier audits.
  • Some travel required.
  • Other tasks reasonably requested due to the nature of the position.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proficient in the use of inspection tools and inspection procedures to accept/reject critical dimensions on product.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft drawings and specifications.
  • Quality experience with aircraft parts and materials.
  • High school or equivalent; technical or vocational education a plus.
  • Vision equal to, or correctable, to 20/20, with no color blindness.
