Precision Aircraft Solutions and Aerolease Aviation Joint Venture to Develop and Market B757-200PCF Freighter

BEAVERTON, Ore. (March 6, 2015) — Precision Aircraft Solutions and Aerolease Aviation this week purchased from AeroTurbine a Pratt-powered 757-200 aircraft (MSN 25441), in a joint venture that will result in the conversion and sale of a high-payload, 15-position freighter.

“This project is an exciting collaboration of two industry experts,” said Aerolease President Jep Thorton. “With Aerolease’s proficiency in 757 freighter development and marketing, along with Precision’s aptitude in flight-efficient conversions, this aircraft will embody a powerful combination of product excellence and proven experience.”

Aerolease, based in Miami, Fla., invests in the Boeing 757 aircraft exclusively and has participated in several Precision cargo conversions in the past. The joint venture conversion is scheduled to begin later this month.

“Combining the extensive marketing and technical expertise of both Aerolease and Precision offers air operators a product ready to haul cargo and produced by people dedicated to cargo aircraft development,” said Precision President Gary Warner.
